Provider Background

Dr. Nevin received her Doctorate in Psychology from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in 1997. She completed her Predoctoral Internship at the VAMC, Salem, Virginia and her Post Doctoral Licensure Residency at New River Valley Community Services, Blacksburg, Virginia. After completion of this Residency she served as a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia with offices in Roanoke. She completed her Post Doctoral education in Clinical Psychopharmacology at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey in 2017. She is licensed as a Prescribing Psychologist in New Mexico with inpatient and outpatient experience there. She also is licensed as a Medical Psychologist in Louisiana. She was an advanced practice registered psychiatric mental health nurse for many years before pursuing psychology. She brings many years in mental health diagnostic and treatment experience in order to aid her patients.
